15:15 But Peter ¹  said to him, “Explain this parable to us.”

23:2 “The ²  experts in the law ³  and the Pharisees ⁴  sit on Moses’ seat.

[15:15]  ¹ tn Grk “And answering, Peter said to him.” This construction is somewhat redundant in English and has been simplified in the translation.

[23:2]  ² tn Grk “saying.” The participle λέγων (legwn) is redundant in contemporary English and has not been translated.
